Why print on metal?
All of our photographs are printed on specially coated aluminum. We find that printing on metal accomplishes a few things. First, these photographs will last for generations. Second, we believe the luminescence of metal helps bring these images to life. Third, they look really cool...
During the printing process, special dyes infuse directly onto the metal surface under extremely high heat, resulting in a remarkably strong adhesion and outstanding durability. When juxtaposed against a black background, the brilliant metallic colors create an unparalleled (almost 3D) depth.
